Crushing on Colorful + Patterned Rugs!

Happy Monday, y’all! We’re always looking to bring pretty color and pattern into our home, and one of our favorite ways to quickly transform a room is with a great rug. Colorful, graphic flat weaves are one of our go-to’s and we love that you can get large sizes without breaking the bank, plus they’re super easy to take care of! Sisal and natural fibers are another favorite…they look great on their own but can also be perfect for layering a smaller patterned rug on top. Two of our favorite sisal styles are this simple one with an ivory border and this one with a greek key motif…in an 8x10’ both are just $300, and they’re available in many other sizes (this style in a 14’ runner is only $132!). Vintage finds are also always a good call…a few great spots to check for vintage rugs include here, here and here! If you’re maxed out on area rugs in your home, think about adding a runner to a hallway…it’s always so fun to see how a pretty runner can elevate these spaces that tend to be a bit overlooked! Right now we’re finding some amazing rug deals at Overstock….we just snapped up this circular jute one for our guest bathroom, and a few others we’re loving include this and this!
