Our New P+P x MacKenzie-Childs Collection!

We are so thrilled to share our new colorful, pattern-happy collection with MacKenzie-Childs! It has been such a fun process to bring these pieces to life, including a visit to the amazing MacKenzie-Childs HQ in Aurora, New York, where the brand’s beautiful ceramic creations are produced by a talented team of artisans creating every detail by hand. The craftsmanship of the pieces is heirloom quality, and the handmade process means that no two pieces are exactly alike. We especially love seeing the variation in the brushstrokes from their meticulous hand-painting techniques!
Our goal was to create a capsule collection of serving and entertaining pieces that are full of color and pattern that will sit beautifully with your existing favorites. We’re such fans of an eclectic, collected tabletop, and we love how these new styles look with our go-to MacKenzie-Childs Royal Check pieces as well as our treasured collection of vintage finds.
The green and blue color palette of the collection is super versatile…we especially love it mixed with pops of red and yellow! The blue stain is a new shade that was developed specifically to coordinate with Royal Check styles, and we’re smitten with the two different shades of green that are used throughout our collection!
We’re such fans of ceramic pieces that can do double duty, and we adore that styles from the collection like the ruffled berry bowl and the saucer plate are perfect as catchalls for jewelry and trinkets, soap dishes or anything else you can dream of! The sugar bowl can also be used for honey, jams, jellies and dips, and the serving platter and pedestal cake stand are entertaining essentials that you’ll turn to for both everyday use and festive celebrations. We adore using the cake stand for a pretty tiered cake, but we’ve also been putting it to use as a fun way to present pastries and appetizers.
