Catalina Gonzalez, owner of Dondolo Baby, started her company as a way to give back to the women and mothers of her native country, Colombia, through the ethical manufacturing of her products. We had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Catalina at our 2019 Creative Club and were immediately inspired by her talent and heart. We connected over our love for patterns and smocking, and told her if she was ever interested in collaborating, we would love to work together! A few months later, Cata put our idea into action came back to us with a plan for a women’s line, and the collection was born! With the recent launch of Creative Club, we are especially looking forward to watching more collaborations like this come to life between members. Over the past few months, we have worked closely alongside Catalina and her team to ideate and create this beautiful collection. Including patterns designed by Virgina based artist, Riley Sheehey, and Colombian illustrator, Barbara Wiesner Peroni, the P+P x Dondolo collection has been crafted by women from start to finish.

Naturally, as a mother of four littles herself, Catalina also designed the most breathtaking coordinating children’s collection that compliments the women’s line perfectly. What’s even better? The entire women’s and children’s lines are machine washable!
