Holiday Season Staples!

We’re big fans of joyful holiday dressing, and bonus points for looks that are equal parts cozy and chic! We’ve got a major crush on J.Crew’s latest styles for the season so we’ve put together a bunch of fun outfits that will carry you through all of your upcoming festive gatherings and occasions. And even better, so many great J.Crew finds are majorly marked down right now!

J.Crew cashmere is one of our longtime go-tos for quality at a great price, and we’re especially smitten with the new brushed cashmere styles that are available this year. The fluffy texture is so cozy and pretty, and it looks far more expensive than the actual price tag.

We also can’t resist a great blazer, and there are so many to choose from at J.Crew right now in velvet, corduroy, wool and more. These are timeless, classic staples that you’ll turn to year after year. I’m wearing a size 4 in the blazers and outerwear and an XS in the sweaters for a more fitted look. Festive Holiday Dressing!

The holiday season is just around the corner so we’re planning out our festive outfits for every event on the calendar! We may be biased, but we think our new collaboration with Buru is the perfect place to start! The collection is full of the prettiest details (brocades, bows, stripes, plaids, scallops!) and timeless silhouettes, all made by hand in Buru’s Los Angeles studio using deadstock fabrics. Styles like this satin opera coat and this mixed plaid dress (made from French silk tie fabric!) will be pieces you treasure for years to come.

Classic Closet Favorites!

We love dressing for the holiday season, and especially when we can get out the door easily while still looking chic and festive! Our foolproof equation takes a cue from the Parisian women we spotted while traveling last week, pairing classic basics with accessories that add a touch of sparkle and whimsy! We’re loving these essential white button-up shirts worn with Frank & Eileen’s super comfortable pants. Here we’ve styled a classic oversized button-up with army green twill chinos that have just the right touch of stretch and a nice slight flare at the bottom, and a tuxedo shirt is worn with the perfect black pants that everyone should have in their closet! The cut is a simple ankle style, in a stretchy black denim fabric with a raw hem that can be trimmed if you’d like to adjust the length. We’ve styled both looks with the shirts tucked and untucked…pick whatever works for your occasion and mood! We find that Frank & Eileen styles run true to size – Gen is wearing a size 4 in the green chino pants, a 27 in the black jeans, an XS in the tuxedo shirt and the oversized button-up comes in just one loose-fitting size.

Another Frank & Eileen must-have is their fleece separates and matching sets, which are so perfect for looking pulled together (while staying comfy!) for travel days. We wear the white and black fleece styles regularly, and we’re also eyeing the new evergreen color.
