Linda Rodin / Pencil & Paper Co. Shades of Blue

We've been obsessed with the wonderfully COOL Linda Rodin for quite a while...she certainly makes aging look chic and a lot less intimidating! We are big fans of her fabulous and beautifully packaged beauty line (love the red lipstick and lipliner). We're going to borrow a page from her book and just keep on wearing what we love!

I'm currently obsessed with this edgy tonal blue ensemble we spotted her in, because really can you ever go wrong with BLUE?! So of course now we are obsessed with finding the perfect statement blue faux fur coat...this one is almost exact, but think we're going for this more budget friendly version! Because we know you love blue as much as we do, especially with a little edge, we've rounded up some of our blue fashion and interior favorites!

Pencil & Paper Co Beauty Wish List

1 Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil / 2 Rodin Lusso Luxury Lipstick / 3 Bobbi Brown Lip Liner / 4 Herbivore Pink Clay Exfoliating Mask / 5 Rodin Geranium & Orange Blossom Face Oil / 6 Jo Malone Orange Blossom Bath Oil / 7 RMS Living Luminizer / 8 La Mer Moisturizing Cream / 9 Recine Hair Oil / 10 Retouching Wand

Beauty products are something that we absolutely LOVE, but sometimes don't want to splurge on for other words, perfect for our holiday wish lists! Some of these are tried and true favorites (we can't live without the RMS Living Luminizer, or the Bobbi Brown Lip Liner) and others we have been DYING to get (like the Rodin lipstick, or Jo Malone bath oil). Some other splurge-worthy products we're eying include this body oil, Herbivore's Instant Glow Mask, and Jo Malone's boxed set of colognes (also perfect as a gift!).

Some of our other go-to beauty products are super affordable. We swear by this for teeth whitening, and love this L'Oreal mascara and this Sonia Kashuk Brow Definer. Target is now carrying some amazing brands like Honest Beauty, and Kristin Ess—gorgeous packaging and accessible prices!

There's something so fun about treating yourself to a new beauty product and taking time for a little self-care around the holidays! Pick some to try now, and a few to add to your own wish list (or give to others)!

NEW p+p art pop-up with scott hughes!

Update: the sale is closed. Please visit Scott's site to see more!

Today is our final Art Pop-Up of the year, and just in time for holiday gift giving!! We are super excited to introduce you to the wonderful work of friend and photographer/artist Scott Hughes (yes, husband of Kayce)...clearly they are one exceptionally creative family!

We think Scott's Americana photography is just the perfect new addition to your art collection. Of course we love a supersized truck or series of vintage cars in a children's bedroom or playroom, but we are equally as excited about the unexpected whimsy these classic subjects bring to more traditional and formal spaces too! Each of the pieces is available in 3 different sizes and ready to frame. We've even curated a selection of 6 prints that would look great as a gallery wall! They're ready to frame, and we love the 8x10s in a simple white frame like this or this. Another great resource is Michael's for 24x36 frames at such a steal (and in stores they come in white)!

And because we love y'all so much this collection of photos will be available at very special holiday pricing (this weekend only)...but hurry, the pop-up ends Monday—and yep, they'll arrive in time for Christmas!

friday favorites

Here are ALL the things we've been majorly swooning over this week...some lust-worthy splurges and a few major steals too! And don't forget to check out some of our recent posts—we've rounded up what's on our wish list, some hostess favorites, how we're decorating, and what we're wearing for the holidays! Happy Friday Y'all!

favorite find: H&M

If you have been following along on've probably seen that we spent this past weekend in Charleston. So much fun experiencing all the southern charm of the holiday season in one of our very favorite towns!  In between lots of fun meals and shopping at the Garden & Gun Jubilee we ran into H&M.  I was completly blown away by all the cute Holiday styles that we found.  Of course we all know the prices are AMAZING...but we were actually quite surprised that the quality seems greatly improved from past visits.  We snapped up a great faux fur jacket that's perfect for holiday parties and the most darling light blue cotton secretary blouse for under $20 (size 6)!!!  We were so excited by our finds that we thought we share all the pieces on our wishlist....and at these prices we don't mind treating ourselves.
