We are so excited to finally reveal to you all our P+P Studio! We've received so many kind messages and questions about our new space that we've been dying to answer! We had to get in this new space quickly, and as efficiently as possible! We applied our signature strategy – crisp white walls layered with color and pattern. We painted the entire space white. Ceilings, walls and even the floors!  It immediately made the space feel sun-filled and cheerful.

When it was time to layer in pattern, we let form meet function. We partnered with The Shade Store to use their stunning new One Kings Lane collection for roman shades. We're huge believers that design doesn't have to be stressful (at least, not all of the time!), and The Shade Store made it simple, quick, and super easy. From the moment we selected our fabric – their team arrived to our office to take complimentary measurements and ensured that the shades could be sewn to perfection. After just 10 days, we had our shades in hand, and their team returned to install them in under 30 minutes. We are beyond excited with how the One Kings Lane "Flowing Stripes" fabric looks in the space, and just how easy this piece to our design puzzle took shape. While we knew we wanted roman shades for our space, we're excited about the opportunities to use this collection with The Shade Store for upcoming client projects – with 8 materials, 22 colors, and availability in roman shades, drapes, and cornices – it's a "no-brainer"! If you've been on the fence about custom window treatments, this family-owned company still manufacturers all of their products in America, and has been doing so since 1946!

After we pinned down the shades, we relied on brilliant artist and friend, Kayce Hughes, to create a large scale modern abstract to be an additional "showstopping" moment. We asked her to paint a piece in our office's signature palette (shades of blue, red, and white – we kept it super classic!) and it quickly became one of our favorite elements of the entire space!

When it came to furnishings, we paid a visit to our friends Debbie and Wayne at Wonders on Woodland to score a few vintage treasures! Hello, new conference table!  For the rest, we got a little creative and designed desks using butcher block and drawer units from IKEA to create a custom u-shaped arrangement.  Since this is a temporary smaller space (psst – we're building our own space next year!), landing the layout was super important.  We decided to create multiple work zones throughout which have proven to be the perfect spots to break out for quick team meetings and lunches!  We're huge believers that design doesn't have to break the bank and a perfect example of this are the uber affordable paper lanterns we used to help anchor the space and provide visual interest!

Inspiration is so important to us, which is why we had our in-house graphic designer, Joe Ernst, create custom graphics to wrap the space above our inspiration boards. For our inspiration boards, we utilized these from Target – super affordable! We love the opportunity to pin up interiors and graphics that inspire us, as well as documents and photos from clients' projects. Two of our favorite quotes: "Your imagination is your reality." from Diana Vreeland. "Never accept O.K. anything" from Charles and Ray Eames, consistently remind us to be both creative and perfectionists.

Organization is something that is crucial for a small space, and we knew we had to have somewhere to store all of our favorite fabric and wallpaper samples! We took advantage of these cuties (under $10!) to use in simple white cubbies to keep neat and tidy. For an added layer of whimsy and fun, we pinned cute labels created in our signature P+P color.

We hope y'all love our office as much as we do – thanks again to The Shade Store for helping us bring our office dreams to life. Comment below if you have any questions, we'd love to hear from you! Don't forget to "shop the look" below.
