fall one room challenge: week 4

How is it that time flies...when you desperately need MORE time?!  It's been a frenzy of a week.  Client projects have been nonstop, we are hosting 4 out of town guests for the weekend, plus we are desperately trying to finish up the One Room Challenge in time for a bit of weekend outdoor entertaining!  Ridiculous right!?!

The ORC has been our most "CHALLENGE" filled yet.  True to form, I'm an over achiever (or possibly just like to torture myself) and chose to tackle two adjacent spaces, mainly because I know the sunroom would be SO lonely without a pea gravel alfresco dining area right?!

As mentioned last week...just about everything has been out of stock or delayed so I feel like I'm kind of winging this one.  Not sure what pieces will actually make the "big reveal" which means a lot of on site quick problem solving (just a day in the life of an interior designer)!

On the bright side...we have had a few big wins...

We have pillows and our roman shades are being installed today (hurray)!  We love the subtlety of this beautiful Chinoiserie Vine fabric from Schumacher designed by my incredibly talented friend Mark D. Sikes.....it just makes me feel like I'm on vacation.

The Serena & Lily Pacifica Corner Sectional has been installed and is EXACTLY what this space needed! I'm envisioning lots of girls' nights taking place right here!

So often, when you purchase something online it doesn't look exactly as you envision when it arrives!  But this starlight coffee table from ATG Stores EXCEEDED expectations!  Love!!!  Also, our Dash & Albert wicker sand woven rug from Annie Selke arrived and we couldn't be more thrilled.  It gives the perfect amount of texture and warmth to the space while not distracted from the original vintage marble floors.

The "Closet Stripe" Blue and White Farrow & Ball wallpaper is up (on the ceiling) and makes me so happy!  It really is all about the details!

We can't wait to install the Watson shaded wall sconce.  We love it's large scale, brass and black finish and that you can control the angle of the shade!

While thrifting a couple of weekends ago, I ran across this amazing vintage piece and love the unexpected pop of color it gives to the space!

Our pea gravel patio is slowly taking shape!  We have the beginning of a brick retaining wall and two lovely posts waiting for paint and "string lights" to make all of my back yard fantasies come true!  Keeping my fingers crossed that this gets wrapped up this week!

We're starting to see a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel!  Be sure to check back in with us next week to hopefully see more progress!
